The incidence of Autism has increased from in 1 in 25000 in the 1950s to 1 in 50 in 2015 and is predicted to reach 1 in 5 by 2030.  More than 1 in 10 of our children are now diagnosed with ADHD, and many are taking psychostimulant medications like Ritalin and Dexamphetamines. Paediatrician Sanford Newmark, from California, explains that he treats children with Neurodevelopmental Disorders, such as ASD and ADHD, using the most natural and safe methods possible. He advocates investigating and treating the underlying causes of these diseases, rather than just using a medication "Band-Aid" to treat the surface symptoms that we see as behaviours. Like Dr. Newmark, we get very excited when we see children with Autism or ADHD begin to engage with their world and flourish after a simple change in diet, some safe nutritional supplements and good behavioural management.
